The holes are too big for a standard B22 bayonet lamp socket, but you can buy the following for about £4.50 - 2 Pack Metal Lamp Shade Reducer Ring, E27/E14 Light Fitting Lampshade Washer Adaptor Converter, Retainer Rings for Light Fixture (White + Black) Brand: LEGELITE - they allow you to use a B22 bulb or a B22d golf ball bulb. Worked for me. Good luck. -
