The thermometer is NIST traceable calibrated and can withstand a temperature range of -58 to 158°F (-50 to 70°C). It does not have a built-in USB port; however, it can work with an external USB data logger. The calibration statement says the item has been calibrated and is up to standards. Feedback from customers indicates that the thermometer comes with a calibration certification that has around a year of validity left on it. Some customers recommended that it is best to recalibrate the thermometer after receiving it even though it does not have a recalibration date stated on it.
