HEXBUG Science Kits & Toys Editorial Review
The HEXBUG BattleBots Rivals Tombstone and Witch Doctor toys are a source of fun and entertainment for children and adults alike. The Spinner feature is a big hit with kids, allowing them to set up plastic cups and send them flying. Clear instructions make for an easy build, though some customers have noted that parts can come apart easily and that extra pieces included in the package are useful. Some more tech-savvy customers have pointed out that they would have preferred a motor, and that they had added one from another robot toy they had, with successful results. It's also worth noting that IFI, the company behind the toy, does not manufacture a motor for this toy specifically. The toy is geared so that the blade spins in the same direction, regardless of the direction of the wheels, which is a plus, and it also comes with extra pieces to make a red weapon instead of just the blue. A few customers have had issues with the quality and instructions, citing poor quality control, while others have had great experiences building the robot, and noted that it keeps children busy for hours. Overall, the Tombstone and Witch Doctor toys are a great choice for any BattleBots fan, provided they understand the limitations of the product and have reasonable expectations.
