Onone Software Photography PEFE-03001 Editorial Review
** Onone Software Perfect Effects V. 3** Onone Software's Perfect Effects V. 3 offers photographers a promising tool for enhancing their images. Many users find its library of effects to be a key highlight, with particular praise for the enhancements it provides to landscape photos. Users appreciate its user-friendly interface and efficient performance when working with images. Notably, one customer mentioned that the program has helped elevate their photography to new heights, making it a worthwhile addition to their editing toolkit. However, Perfect Effects is not without its drawbacks. Some users have reported performance issues, especially when handling larger files, such as TIFF images from the D7000. These performance lags lead some users to downsample their images significantly in order to use the software effectively. Frequent crashes have also been noted, which detracts from the overall experience. Furthermore, there's a Consensus that the software could benefit from additional bug fixes and performance improvements. On the pricing front, while some users found value in the software, the price point seems excessive to others given the performance issues, with suggestions that it should be closer to $30. It is worth noting that there is a newer version available for free on Onone's website, which has made the older version's pricing a point of contention among users. Overall, Onone Software Perfect Effects V. 3 has the potential to greatly enhance the photo editing experience for many users, but it may require some patience due to its performance quirks and crashes. **
