マーティン・ハンドフォード Format: Tankobon Picture Books Editorial Review
In the retrospective glow of nostalgia, this new large-format compilation of the beloved "Where's Wally?" series has struck a chord with both parents reminiscing about their childhood and children eagerly embarking on their own search for Wally. Customers have praised the book for its perfect size; it’s neither too small nor overwhelmingly large, making it ideal for family travel. The collection includes all titles, which has delighted many who once cherished these books, creating opportunities for shared enjoyment across generations. Parents have noted the book’s ability to keep their children engaged, particularly a 3.5-year-old who enjoys the challenge of spotting Wally, despite some mentions that certain illustrations make finding Wally more difficult than expected. The artwork is described as adorable and entertaining, prompting some customers to simply enjoy looking at the illustrations as a delightful experience in itself. Notably, buyers appreciate the value presented in this compilation—comprising seven previously separate books into a single volume, it offers not only a compact format but also convenience for outings. While some were worried about the difficulty level based on the illustrated size, most found it adequately readable and suitable for both adults and kids alike. Overall, this book appears to be a wonderful gift option, resonating well with children and allowing parents to instill a sense of discovery in their little ones, reinforcing the timeless charm of Wally's adventures. **
