Nikwax Editorial Review
Nikwax Down Proof & Down Wash Direct Twin Pack for Waterproofing and Cleaning Down Jackets, Duvets and Equipment ensures effective washing and re-proofing of your down garments. This liquid solution, with an appealing orange scent, is designed specifically for fabric surfaces, making it an excellent choice for revitalizing your down jackets that can become ineffective when wet. Users report excellent results, noting the importance of following specific washing instructions to achieve the best outcome. The process may take time with rinsing three times for a deep clean, but many have found their jackets feeling and performing like new after treatment. The Nikwax system not only cleans but also retains the down's insulating properties, a crucial benefit for maintaining warmth during outdoor activities.
