Pro-Ject Head Box E Micro High End Headphone Amplifier Black

The Pro-Ject Head Box E is a compact headphone amplifier that has garnered a mix of praise and critique from users. Many customers appreciate the amplifier's ability to significantly enhance their listening experience, especially when used with record players that lack a headphone output. The convenience of a small footprint allows it to fit seamlessly into various setups without occupying too much space. Users have reported an enjoyable sound quality, highlighting its clarity and lack of distortion when paired with high-quality headphones and DACs. However, the product has received some criticism regarding the volume output. Several customers noted that despite its build quality and sound performance, the amplifier's gain is quite low. Even with the volume turned to maximum, some users found it inadequate to drive certain headphones effectively, leading to disappointment. This suggests that while the device excels in audio clarity and overall functionality, it may not fulfill the requirements of users requiring higher volume levels. Overall, the Pro-Ject Head Box E is well-regarded for its sound quality and ease of use, but potential buyers should carefully Consider their headphone choices and volume expectations. **
