Customers have reported that this conditioner moderately softens old leather that has hardened due to sun exposure. However, it is important to note that ultraviolet damage may still be a challenge. Some customers have expressed difficulty in finding the original formula, but the product purchased by most customers is "All Leather Conditioner - Step 2", which does say "Our Original Formula".
