- The Celestron NexStar 8SE Schmidt-Cassegrain Computerized Telescope is a telescope designed for clarity for amateur or professional astronomers. Even for dark and very distant views, this telescope enhances image quality and eliminates visual distortions more than a normal telescope. This is an 8-inch aperture Schmidt-Cassegrain with updated features. It has excellent light-gathering ability for incredible views of deep sky objects. Plus, it has a fully automated GoTo computerized mount with a database of more than 40, 000 celestial objects and auto-tracking of those objects. It's easy to use thanks to a unique single fork arm design with a sturdy steel tripod that breaks down into multiple components for portability and easy assembly. With a 2032 mm focal length, an XLT high transmission lens coating system to minimize light loss, and an image-flattening coma-free optical design, this is a high-quality optical tool for anyone to use.
