It can easily remove compression collars from 1/2" copper pipes even when they are tightly fitted. The tool does not damage the pipe and can be used to reuse the end of the pipe for a new collar unless the pipe itself is damaged. However, the product information section in the listing is incorrect, and some customers received the red Lasco Compression Sleeve Puller instead of the gray Pasco Compression Sleeve Puller. Some customers have also reported poor quality materials and durability issues with the product.
