They are also good for corn husk dolls, although some may be cut instead of pointed. As for whether they're organic, the seller claims they are derived from living carbon-based organisms, but they're not marketed as such. One reviewer wasn't sure where they were grown or if they were GMO-free. If you're using them for food, they're gluten-free and nut-free as long as they haven't come into contact with nuts.
