Definitive Collection

The customer experience surrounding the "Definitive Collection" appears to be a mixed bag, reflecting both appreciation for the album's content and some disappointment regarding its track selection. Fans of ABBA generally recognize the collection as a valid option for those seeking a broad overview of the group's major works, especially since it claims to cover the key tracks also included in the highly regarded "ABBA GOLD." Reviewers have noted that the album presents a significant number of songs, including lesser-known tracks like "Angeleyes" and "Summer Night City," which are not part of the classic compilation. However, a common critique among fans is the absence of specific popular songs—particularly "Tiger" and "That's Me"—which resonate strongly with the Japanese audience but are overlooked in the international version. This exclusion is seen as a drawback for fans looking for a comprehensive experience, as it limits the album's appeal to die-hard ABBA enthusiasts who might already own other collections or are particular about song availability. While some users appreciate the inclusion of lyrics in their booklet, others expected more from the DVD, hoping for a variety of multimedia content that isn't entirely delivered. Suggestions have been made that while a best-of collection serves as a great entry point for casual listeners, dedicated fans might find more value in purchasing complete albums to capture the full breadth of the band’s artistry. Overall, this "Definitive Collection" succeeds in offering a comprehensive assembly of ABBA's work but is somewhat hampered by its omission of key tracks and a lack of diverse DVD content that could enhance the offering. **
