The Penn-Elcom Under Desk Laptop Drawer is a lockable, sliding security drawer with external dimensions of 58cm (left-to-right) x 43cm (front-to-back) x 5.7cm (deep) and internal dimensions of 550x400x50mm. It can be placed on either the left or right sides of the desk. The drawer can support a weight of up to 4-5kg when fitted with good screws. Though it doesn't have any front port holes, it can be used for more than just a laptop if wires are going in one direction. The product has received mixed reviews. While some appreciate its excellent build quality, perfect size and super-solid mechanism, others have had issues with the slider being out of alignment, the rubber stopper popping out, and the space at the front being unusable. Some found the installation instructions poor and the drill hole guidelines off, but others found the fitting template gave an easy install taking about 5-10 minutes.
